1. The primary focus of the Erotic-Artists.net toplist can be summed up as-
   
   "Erotic art sites which are run by, or on behalf of, a particular artist or artists, or which feature the work of a particular artist or artists."
   
   "Erotic art" includes but is not necessarily limited to: all types of illustration, pinups, cartoons, comics, 3D renders, hentai, furries and fine art on any and all media both real world and digital. "Erotic" is intended as in inclusive rather than exclusive term and everything is welcome from non-nude sexy superheroines to explicit, hardcore imagery. Do not fret about whether your site is "rude enough"!
2. Photographic Artists Sites are also welcome provided that they are clearly the site of a specific photographic artist. General photographic galleries, sites which are porn, glamour or "nude teens" sites such as Hegre, Met Art etc, or are promotional/affiliate sites for them are NOT appropriate for this list as its focus is on promoting artists. Whether a site is suitable for this list is purely at our discretion.
3. In order to retain the the theme of this list, "Erotic Artists", participating art sites should identify the artist or artists responsible for the work. Pseudonyms and net "handles" are of course acceptable.
4. Commercial paysites, free sites and quality AVS sites are welcome. We also welcome-
   
   Other good quality link lists, toplists etc are welcome, so long as their theme is similar to that of this list. Rubbishy lists full of low quality sites will be removed.
   
   Artists' resource sites such as tutorial sites, discussion forums for artists, artists directories and sites such as online galleries selling artists's works.
   
   "Appreciator" gallery sites so long as they are free and are not profiteering from the work of artists. At the minimum they must identify the creators of all the works they display and must NOT be paysites or AVS, as appreciators do not have any copyright to the works they display. Whether such sites are appropriate is at the discretion of Erotic-Artists.net- if you are not sure whether your site is suitable for this list please email us to ask.
5. The intention of this list is to feature links to high quality sites and as such it is monitored and will not be allowed to degenerate into a list of DIZNEY INCEST TOONS!!! crap. As such, the following types of sites are not welcome and will be immediately deleted and blocked-
   • Generic hentai or other art/cartoon sites full of generic content, either bought of stolen.
   • "Free" sites which are nothing more than an advertising gateway to a paysite.
   • Sites with an excessive amount of advertising, particularly popup windows, consoles, etc.
   • Any site featuring ANY malware, which includes diallers, will be immediately cast into the outer darkness.
   • Any site with blind or misleading links, particularly any which trick surfers into voting on this list for that site.
   Your banner should link to either your warning page or your main index page. Please do not link to promotional galleries and other "special" pages. This isn't a TGP.
6. Be honest in your description. Don't claim content you don't have, and if your site is a paysite, unless it has a large, proper free area, don't claim it's a free site. Don't use excessive quantities of exclamation marks, @ symbols etc to draw attention. Also, please apply some taste with your banners by avoiding migraine-inducing gyrating gifs. Because of 2257, please DO NOT use banners which feature any real sexual images, or 3D etc so well rendered that it may be considered real by an idiot from the morality enforcement police.
7. Erotic-Artists.net supports freedom of expression, but sites which are excessively violent are taboo here. Please note that sites featuring BDSM, spanking, wrestling, boxing, hentai tentacle buggery, women in peril (or indeed men!) and what have you are more than welcome- the sites this rule applies to are those which in the opinion of Erotic-Artists.net seem to actively promote real harm and violence, particularly against women. Sites which in our view are racist or promote hate against any group or individual will also be removed.
8. NO CHEATING. This list is scrupulously fair- there is no hit weighting, preference for some sites over others etc, and participants are required to participate honestly. Cheating includes, but is not necessarily limited to-
   • Blind links which lead to the voting page (an image which appears to be a thumbnail).
   • Mislabelled links to the voting page (e.g. a link which says "FREE XXX PORN" but leads here instead).
   • Popping up the voting page in a popup or popunder window.
   • Any automated voting method e.g. with a script.
   • Sites which use script methods etc to unlock content by voting on this or other lists or use any other method which forces visitors to vote.
   • Anything else that we think is cheating.
   Sites may be asked to account for their outgoing traffic. If they can't do that to the satisfaction of Erotic-Artists.net, they will face deletion.
   
   If you spot any sites cheating, please let us know.
9. Sites should send us traffic by use of our banners (which must be served from their own server) or text links, which must be reasonably honest in terms of description, for example "Erotic Artists.net", "Erotic Artists Links", "Click here for more sites like this one!" etc.
10. Sites require 1 hit to show up on the list. The list updates every 20 minutes, and is reset every week.
11. We STRONGLY recommend that you use a graphic banner, preferably one which is eye-catching and well designed. Sites without banners simply do not attract as many clicks from surfers.
12. A good quality toplist is a positive resource for all. By sending plenty of good quality traffic, you'll get back more of the same. Promoting this list prominently on your site will benefit your site in terms of traffic and exposure to new surfers. Please support this list, and we will all prosper together!
